Firstly, it is important that you are emotionally comfortable but the greatest amount of growth can come from your discomfort so my role is to help you safely lean into that discomfort. 

 

I implement effective therapeutic methods to instil self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life's situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix; therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behaviour and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

Types of Therapy

Therapy can be offered face-to-face in either my Sydney or Newcastle clinic or online (global hours offered for online)

Finding comfort in the uncomfortable

Since opening the doors of my clinic, I have provided patients a wide range of mental health services. I specialise in family therapy, hypnotherapy, trauma, anxiety, stress, infidelity, anger, acceptance and commitment.

Anxiety

Including excessive worry, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, phobias, generalised anxiety

Communication, conflict resolution, infidelity, relationship breakdown, available for both same sex and heterosexual couples.

Grief and Loss

Dealing with the feelings of grief and loss whether that be a loved one, relationship, job or any significant change

Assistance with reactions to traumatic experiences as well as depression, mood swings and motivation issues

Building resilience to manage stressful situations, assistance with managing inappropriate behaviour, basic anger management techniques. Stress factors such as family responsibilities, competing demands, and other forms of stress will also be addressed.

Hypnotherapy

An alternative medicine in which hypnosis is used to create a state of focused attention and increased suggestibility during which positive suggestions and guided imagery to help individuals deal with a variety of concerns and issues. Hypnotherapy can also be used to achieve athletic peak performance and to reduce performance anxiety.
